Pet-friendly property for large group holidays, Wye Rapids House provides accommodation in picturesque Symonds Yat, offering an idyllic retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Full of character, on the edge of the woods at the end of a lane this beautiful converted 4* hotel in the heart of the Wye Valley with stunning views from its riverside location this holiday home sleeps 26 people in 11 ensuite bedrooms.
The large dining room with panoramic views over the river comfortably seats everyone.
Combining genuine peace and quiet (apart from the sound of the river) and virtually no traffic, with loads to do nearby. It’s comfortable, private, with a games room and hot tub (hire charge). Well behaved pet’s welcome.
Within a very short walk there are three excellent pubs, 2 restaurants, and best of all a romantic river ferry for beautiful circular walks. And when the visitors go home of an evening you have the village to yourselves.

WEIR HOUSE

The Weir House is next door to the Saracens Head Inn, and has three double bedrooms, all with an uninterrupted river view.
Two of the bedrooms have an en-suite shower room and one, a very small double room does not. There is also a separate bathroom with a shower over bath. There are TV’s, and tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. Downstairs is a sitting room with TV and patio doors onto a private riverside terrace with furniture. Parking is free, directly in front of the house.
The Weir House is available on a Bed and Breakfast basis, with breakfast at The Saracens Head Inn next door, included in the price quoted. It is possible to book one, two or three rooms, and would be ideal for two or three couples sharing a few days away.
It is for sole use, so if you only book one room, you will have the place to yourself. We do allow children over the age of seven to stay there. We have free Wi-Fi.
Regretfully we do not allow pets to stay, and it is a strictly no smoking property (that includes hanging out of a window). We do ask guests to respect the environment and other residents in the valley, so ask for quiet after 11.00pm.
At a later date The Weir House will be available on a ‘House to Rent’ basis, with the addition of a kitchen and an additional sitting room.
