The Royal Lodge’s AA Certified guest accommodation boasts 26 comfortable rooms with each having unique and differing characters.

Stay with us and take in and enjoy the outstanding views of either the River Wye or the woodland below the stunning Symonds Yat Rock which we are nestled neatly under, be sure of a relaxing bed and breakfast break in Herefordshire with the quaint market towns of Ross on Wye & Monmouth and the lovely Forest of Dean all just five minutes away.

The Royal Lodge is steeped in history having been originally the private hunting lodge of The Royal family and originally having its own private steam railway station. The building is of a quirky nature, throwing back to its historic roots. It has envious surrounds in arguably one of the most beautiful parts of the world, sitting upon the border of the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.

With our dog friendly rooms, why not make it a family trip and enjoy local walks from the door and finish your day with a superb meal in our restaurant next to the log fire.
